Today the MIBIHAR members came for the first day of cleanliness, upkeep and beautification of the stage, havan area and multipurpose hall of our temple. Our team inspires the volunteer community! MIBIHAR supports UTSAAH - A Charity Event for Detroit School Children organized by DETROIT INDIANS
MIBIHAR supported and participated in the debut fundraising event by Detroit Indians for FRONT PORCH, a Detroit based after school program for kids. FRONT PORCH is a small, but effective non-profit organization serving Detroit children with homework help, tutoring and recreational activities. MIBIHAR partnered with local MICHIGAN organizations to contribute toward this noble cause. We thank DETROIT INDIANS for making us a part of this great initiative. UTSAAH was a successful event and MIBIHAR is proud to be a part of it!

MIBIHAR Bihar Diwas 2012 - MI gets mentioned in TELEGRAPH article by PIYUSH KUMAR TRIPATHI
The camaraderie of Biharis crossed several boundaries as the state completed 100 years of existence.

A day after the people of Bihar converged at Gandhi Maidan from March 22 to 24, their counterparts in faraway Michigan gathered at St Paul’s Latvian Church in Farmington Hills, a northwestern suburb in Metro Detroit, to celebrate the centenary year of their homeland. Bihar Divas 2012 was organised in the United States by MIBIHAR — Friends of Bihar and Jharkhand in Michigan. Over 150 people took part in the event, which was organised on March 25.

Bihar Diwas 2012 - Mi organized by MIBIHAR gets reported in the reputed Indian newspaper Times of India in an article by Alok Mishra.

Besides, various institutions and groups of individuals in different countries are also organizing 'Bihar Diwas'. Various events have been announced on Facebook. One such event is scheduled in Michigan (USA). The organizer, Rachna Kumar, has invited guests at 'Bihar Diwas 2012: Celebrating 100th Foundation Day of Bihar'.
