Dear Colleague,
It is my pleasure to announce that the Ford Asian Indian Association (FAIA) Annual Event has been scheduled for the evening of Thursday, November 1, 2012, at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, Dearborn (5:00 pm to 9:30 pm in Hubbard Ballroom). Mark Fields, President of the Americas, Ford Motor Company, will be our Keynote Speaker. Mike Bannister, Chairman & CEO Ford Credit, Jim Farley, GVP - Global MS&S, Felicia Fields, GVP-HR & Corp Srvcs and Joe Bakaj, VP of Powertrain are some of the execs confirming their attendance so far.
I would like to invite all of you -- our employees, retirees, suppliers and dealer partners, along with your families (adults only) to this special event. Each year, this event has been sold out, and the Event Management Team of FAIA has plans in place to take this year's program to the next level.
Our theme this year, consistent with our priorities, is "Going Further: Making a Difference" -- it encapsulates FAIA's commitment to the success of Ford.
Key elements of the program for the evening are as follows:
* Networking and Cross-Cultural Exchange (Open Bar)
* Executive Speaker: Mark Fields
* Corporate Sponsor: Raj Nair
* FAIA President’s update: Nand Kochhar
* Dinner -- Indian Cuisine
* Entertainment Dance Program by Nadanta (Artistic Director: Ms. Chaula Thacker)
Registration will commence at 5:00 p.m. As in previous years, we will take this opportunity to showcase India, the Indian community, Indian employees at Ford and FAIA.
The FAIA Event Management team has been working hard to make this year's event a memorable one for you, and your families and friends. Our event is sold out every year, and since we have limited seating this year again, tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis with 95% of the tickets already sold.
Please purchase your tickets today ($30/person or $300/table of 10).
Tickets are available only through http://tinyurl.com/faia2012. Click here for the event flyer.
Thank You for your ongoing kind support. I look forward to seeing you on November 1st.
Nand Kochhar,
President, FAIA
